Kill the Whale: A Musical Odyssey of Moby Dick, is a multi-faceted project in development that will yield  a concept album and live action music video film, built in the characters and waters of Melville's Moby Dick. The music incorporates 60’s and 70’s rock, folk, classic RnB and soul, with a smattering of contemporary Hip Hop. Kill the Whale sets out to explore the most powerful quality of the source material––the twisted and glorious characters of Moby-Dick, played and sung by a group of skillful, soulful actor-musicians, with women in the roles of authority. The songs and music will be connected seamlessly through narrative scenes, deriving influences as varied as The Beatles and Samuel Beckett. More info here.
